Some of my favorite industry events are the ones that simply bring good people together and that's exactly what Legado 7 did while celebrating the release of their new single, "Un Cafecito."
I had the opportunity to attend their exclusive pop-up in collaboration with Brewskiee Coffee, where guests enjoyed coffee inspired by the new single, delicious food, live music, fun activities, and an evening filled with great vibes.

As someone from Mexicali, this event was extra special for me. Legado 7's "Vida Peligrosa" has always been one of my cousin's and my favorite corridos. It instantly takes me back to when I was living in Phoenix and we'd head to Las Vegas with that song playing. It's one of those songs that never gets old and always brings back good memories.
Another highlight of the night was catching up with friends from the music industry and finally meeting in person one of the artists from my CASA OTM mentorship program. I always enjoy seeing the music community come together and creating new connections along the way

I recently had the opportunity to visit Sony Music Latin at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, where I sat down with Julio Caesar to discuss his new album, Projectando.
As part of a press interview, I had the chance to ask Julio a few questions about his latest project, his vision for the music industry, and what he hopes to accomplish in the future.
One of the first questions I asked was:
"If you could change one thing about the music industry to better benefit artists, what would it be?"
As the industry continues to evolve, it's always insightful to hear directly from artists about the changes they believe would create more opportunities and better support for creators.
I also wanted to learn more about the inspiration behind his new album.
Why did you choose the title Projectando?
Every project has a story, and Julio shared the meaning behind the album's title and what it represents in this stage of his career.

Who would you like to collaborate with in the future?
Collaborations often become defining moments in an artist's journey, and it was exciting to hear about the artists who inspire him.
Finally, being based in Southern California, I couldn't leave without asking:
Do you see yourself performing at Coachella one day?
For many artists, performing at Coachella is a career milestone, and Julio shared his thoughts on what reaching that stage would mean to him.

Una noche con jordan davis en el acrisure arena
I don’t have too many updates to share since I’ve been taking a little break for my health, but slowly I’m making my way back into the scene. And what better way to close out my summer than with some amazing news I’m officially part of the Acrisure Arena Influencer Program!
It still feels surreal to say that. The arena is so close to home, and for once, I don’t have to make the long drive to Los Angeles for a concert. Having world-class artists performing practically in my own backyard is mind-blowing.
Jordan Davis actually kicked off his “Ain’t Enough Road” Tour right here in the Greater Palm Springs / Palm Desert area. If you’re not from the Coachella Valley, that’s probably the city name you’ll recognize. Honestly, Acrisure Arena was the perfect venue to launch this tour intimate, modern, and with the best energy.
He brought out some incredible guests like Mitchell Tenpenny, Vincent Mason, and McKenzie Carpenter (though I might’ve missed McKenzie since I left a little early to beat the traffic oops lol). When I was there, it was amazing to hear each of them perform individually. Then Mitchell Tenpenny came out to sing with Jordan Davis, rocking his Firebirds Journey jacket, and honestly I couldn’t have been happier!
Even though Jordan mentioned he was losing his voice, you honestly wouldn’t have noticed if he hadn’t said anything. He still sounded incredible and gave us everything, performing some of his biggest hits along with his latest single that I’m completely obsessed with, “Turn This Truck Around.” At this point in my life, I can totally relate to that song.
So that’s my little recap of the concert! I hope some of you followed along live on my Instagram stories. And of course, make sure you’re following Jordan Davis, his special guests, and Acrisure Arena to stay in the loop on all the upcoming events happening right here in the Coachella Valley.

Kendrick Lamar just shut it down at the halftime show, and honestly, he didn’t even need a stage—the entire football field was his. The way he moved across it, the energy, the presence, everything about it was next level. It wasn’t just a performance; it was a statement.
SZA and Samuel L. Jackson even popped in, adding to the whole vibe. Kendrick made sure people won’t forget this one.

Prepárate, porque este sábado 2 de noviembre en el Nos Event Center en San Bernardino, California, el No Te Enamores Fest está listo para hacer historia. ¡Las puertas se abren a las 12:00 pm, y créeme que no te quieres perder ni un minuto de este evento épico! Este gesto nace del propio corazón de JOP, quien recordó cómo de niño, a veces sus padres no tenían lo suficiente para llevarlo a estas experiencias, y ahora quiere darle a otras familias lo que él soñaba tener en su niñez.
No Te Enamores Fest es solo el comienzo de un contrato de tres años con la ciudad de San Bernardino, lo que significa que esto es solo el principio de lo que promete ser una tradición anual. Es inspirador ver a artistas como Fuerza Regida utilizar su éxito para apoyar y conectar con la comunidad, devolviendo algo del amor y apoyo que han recibido.

Me voy despertando con la triste noticia de que falleció Lefty SM como el nombre de la revista Oye Todo Music, soy amante de todos los géneros musicales y el Rap Mexicano para mí no es la excepción.
De hecho siempre llegué a pensar en conocerlo así como gracias a Dios ya he tenido la oportunidad de conocer a Santa Fe de Clan. Es de esos artistas que piensas que siempre los vas a ver porque disfrutas su música nunca te imaginas que se van a ir tan rápido.
Es por eso mismo que siempre les digo que aprovechen su vida y hagan lo que aman y lo que les apasiona. Desafortunadamente el post que confirmó su muerte y donde yo lo mire fue en la cuenta oficial de Alzada que es la disquera del rapero.
Por el momento no tengo más detalles sobre su muerte, solo sé que lamentable lo asesinaron en la madrugada de este 3 de septiembre en su casa según lo que su esposa declaró en redes sociales. Esperemos que en las próximas horas se revelen más detalles de lo sucedido.
Una vez más este es un recordatorio poderoso de la importancia de valorar la vida y perseguir nuestras pasiones mientras tenemos la oportunidad. La comunidad musical se une en momentos como este para honrar la memoria de Lefty SM y recordar su legado a través de su música.
Mis más profundas condolencias para la familia de Lefty Sm. Es difícil encontrar palabras que puedan aliviar el dolor en momentos como este, pero quiero que sepan cuánto lamento su pérdida. Lefty fue una persona especial, y su memoria vivirá en nuestros corazones para siempre.
Rihanna Amazing Super Bowl Performance!
Rihanna played the halftime show at the 2023 Super Bowl LVII Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. In my own personal humble opinion she did not disappoint at all. It took me by surprise that she showcased her baby bump since I didn’t know she was pregnant again with baby number 2.
I loved that she played some of her biggest hit songs. It's amazing to realize how many hit songs she has in just 13 minutes and I know them all.
I wasn’t really thrilled with her outfit but I guess it was just convenient. I mean I didn’t hate it but if I were ever to perform at the Super Bowl I would have gone over the top with my outfit.
I love that she performed Diamonds at the end not gonna lie it kind of made me tear up a bit. It’s amazing to see someone shine bright like a diamond after everything they have been through in life. I hope she ends up having a blessed year and a beautiful healthy baby and her family keeps growing as well as her music career.
